Annie is a Princess that was first introduced in "Clash-A-Lot The Musical". She was also temporarily a Bandit as a disguise.
History[]
After her father, the Red Team's king, rejected her battle plans, Annie ran away from him disguised as a Bandit. She tried to join a group of Skeletons, a group with a Royal Giant, Giant and Ice Wizard, and some Spear Goblins, getting rejected from each one, and never found a group before the start of a Tournament. She switched sides and took command of the floundering, King-less Blue Team, managing to turn the match around and destroy her father's right Princess Tower (with the Goblin Princess, removing her from the match). While initially confident following her also countering a Lumberjack and Goblin Barrel push with Arrows, her father led a two-Inferno Dragon and Lava Hound push followed soon after by Three Musketeers, devastating the Blue team and resulting in the loss of their right Princess Tower, and Annie, disheartened, resigned herself to her fate. However, her leadership earned the respect of the groups she had asked to join earlier, and decided to join Annie in counterpushing with Skeletons, Spear Goblins, a Royal Giant, Giant, Ice Wizard and Hog Rider, resulting in an almost decisive defeat of the Red team. She called off the destruction of the King's Tower, and rejoined her father's team.
Personality and characteristics[]
Unlike most characters in "Clash-A-Lot The Musical", Annie's preferred music style is rap, although occasionally she does adopt the musical style of the Red King. She seems to be a battle strategist, as when she tried to convince her father to adopt her strategies, and led many against her father later, single-handedly saving the Blue Team from an initial defeat, although she failed to counter devastating Red Team pushes later.
Though she aspires to be a battle strategist, she also seems to be innocent and somewhat naive, as her constant trust in her chances to join a team nearly excluded her from a tournament entirely, and her predictions of what her father would do nearly cost her team the match; her quote of "I'm sure that's not as bad as it sounds" when her father sends a Lava Hound and Inferno Dragon push to destroy her team's right Princess Tower showed she had underestimated what he was capable of.
Trivia[]
- Annie, in her Bandit design, possesses the only unique Bandit appearance. While she gains the usual mask and clothes that other Bandits such as Brandy wear, she keeps the same hairstyle covering one of her eyes that she had when she was a Princess, but simply dyed white. While for the first half of the episode she wears neutral colours, when she switches to play for the Blue Team, her mask changes colour whereas her dress remains grey; the opposite is true for Brandy.
- Annie may be named after the musical with the same name.
- Annie is the first character other than a King to take direct leadership of Clash Royale troops during a match. In fact, the Blue Team during the tournament does not even have a King, leaving Annie as the sole commander and only Bandit/Princess to serve as one. This led to deployments that would be strange if a King made them, such as directly attacking her father's King Tower as opposed to either of his Princess Towers.
